Hi
we're
currently piloting WBIMB ( 5.0.1.3) on Solaris and one of the message flows
needs to connect to a SQL Server 7.0 DB.
the
/var/mqsi/odbc/.odbc.ini has no example stanzas for configuring a SQL Server
driver and /opt/wmqi/merant/lib has no obvious candidates for the driver
library.
Went
to the merant site and it looks like the version of the odbc stuff shipped by
IBM ( which I'm guessing is 4.1 from the exmaples in .odbx.ini ) and they only
support SQL Server connectivity on Solaris with version 5 of their
odbc.
Has
anyone come across a similar issue - if so, any workarounds out
there?
