Anthony

You may want to check your kernel parameters *and hard and soft limits for the number
of opened file descriptors* once again...

Hope this will help,
Pavel

Good morning Listers,

We are setting up a new environment on Sun Solaris V. 8

Websphere MQ V 5.3 CSD 07

I have never run across this problem on other versions of UNIX but when I issue the
crtmqm -q qmgrname command i get an 893 error code??
An FDC is created each time the command is issued.

Searching the IBM site I find nothing on Solaris and this problem just AIX.

Any ideas or suggestions?
