No. However, I am using linear and needed to size the log file system. I used the section in the Systems Administration Guide that talks about what gets logged an how much is logged. The reason I posed the question is that I am running a stress test on a new environment and am pumping a very high volume through it right now. I probably won't hit that peak for a couple years, but was just curious as to how big others made their log file systems.
Do you allocate in terms of Mb or Gb? If my memory does not fail me the maximum log file size can be 16,384 x 4KB = 64 Mb. The maximum number of logs is limited to 63, thus giving a size of 4.x Gb.
