An MQ Client can keep making as many connections as it wants, up to the
limit the QM allows, either because MAX channel was reached, or a limit that
a Security exit like Capitalware's sets at the channel level.

You can't tell much from that error, all it says is the other side went away
without issuing an MQDISC. Maybe they chose to end that way, or they
crashed, or the firewall cut the connection, or the network dropped,
or......

Subject: Client Connections limits

What controls the number of simultaneous connections a MQ Client can have ?
For example, connecting to a 5.3 queue manager which is running on a
Solaris Server. Our log is showing this error and the application team is
asking.
