G'Day, Firstly "Upgraded from what"? The last company I worked for upgraded from HP to AIX last month and a number of seemly legal HP programs also fell over under AIX. We discovered that a number of "C" programs had poorly written buffer pointer code that compiled and ran on HPUX but fell over on AIX (compiled ok).
If this is a "C" program I suggest checking the code carefully for pointer errors and return code handling. Some OS's will allow a lot of poor coding (Red Hat). Sid On 6/28/07, Kerry Swemmer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Hi All, Does anybody use, know, remember or whatever the above? We migrated AIX hardware platforms over the week-end and since then Natural abends during MQGet's, with very erratic behaviour. Time is short at the moment so I don't want to go into huge detail if there is nobody out there that is interested. Put your hands up please.
