Yes, I am running Cygwin version. After hours of debugging, I didn't find any clue. *Finally rebooted my machine and now this seems working as of now.*
@Andy, When I attempt to connect another client with the same id, it closes existing connection and prompts: Client sub1 already connected, closing old connection. New client connected from 127.0.0.1 as sub1. The program terminates with producing following output (no stacktrace like before). Connection lost. Cause: Connection lost (32109) - java.io.EOFException ERROR: JDWP Unable to get JNI 1.2 environment, jvm->GetEnv() return code = -2 JDWP exit error AGENT_ERROR_NO_JNI_ENV(183): [../../../src/share/back/util.c:820] Earlier, I couldn't trace logs on terminal since I ran mosquitto from services. So, I don't have any conclusion what did happen earlier. If this occurs again, I'll try to find any trace so that I can figure out the root cause. Thank you all for your attention and quick help.
