I already renamed / deleted several times this file and I'm using "persistent = false" to avoid doubts, it does not help. I'm more and more convinced that something in the networking configuration of Linux is responsible for this but usual tools like netcat etc show no issue. Any other file written / used around by the broker? I don't think so. Very strange!!!
