Maybe so.  Then again, maybe not.


I think the question should be made more abstract:

For "n" different type of graphs do we

1) define "p" different grapher functions, where p equals n

or

2) combine "q" different grapher functions, where q is much
   smaller than n yet we may need to use more than one function


Personally I'd vote for option 2.  Much smaller documentation,
much smaller program, much less chance for bugs.
