Hello, I'm attempting to get cfgmaker from mrtg 2.10.11 to correctly generate a config file for a 3com Superstack Switch 3300sm (current firmware). However, when I run cfgmaker the resulting cfg file has all the ports are commented out.
If I uncomment the first interface and run mrtg, it returns a SNMP error. Does anyone have a suggestions on how to fix this? -Mark R. ### Interface 101 >> Descr: 'RMON:10/100-Port-1-on-Unit-1' | Name: '' | Ip: '' | Eth: '' ### ### The following interface is commented out because: ### * got 'Received SNMP response with error code ### error status: noSuchName ### index 1 (OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.101) ### SNMPv1_Session (remote host: "switch1" [128.143.137.2].161) ### community: "public" ### request ID: -2097608270 ### PDU bufsize: 8000 bytes ### timeout: 2s ### retries: 5 ### backoff: 1)' from interface when trying to query # # Target[switch1.legion.virginia.edu_101]: 101:[EMAIL PROTECTED]: # SetEnv[switch1.legion.virginia.edu_101]: MRTG_INT_IP="" MRTG_INT_DESCR="RMON:1 0/100-Port-1-on-Unit-1" # MaxBytes[switch1.legion.virginia.edu_101]: 12500000 # Title[switch1.legion.virginia.edu_101]: Traffic Analysis for 101 -- switch1.le gion # PageTop[switch1.legion.virginia.edu_101]: <H1>Traffic Analysis for 101 -- swit ch1.legion</H1> # <TABLE> # <TR><TD>System:</TD> <TD>switch1.legion in Small Hall</TD></TR> # <TR><TD>Maintainer:</TD> <TD>[EMAIL PROTECTED]</TD></TR> # <TR><TD>Description:</TD><TD>RMON:10/100-Port-1-on-Unit-1 </TD></TR> # <TR><TD>ifType:</TD> <TD>ethernetCsmacd (6)</TD></TR> # <TR><TD>ifName:</TD> <TD></TD></TR> # <TR><TD>Max Speed:</TD> <TD>100.0 Mbits/s</TD></TR> # </TABLE> -- Unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Help mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archive http://www.ee.ethz.ch/~slist/mrtg-developers
