It has been a LONG time since I set up MRTG on a PM3, but the common OID that
people monitor is the number of interfaces. The Ethernet interface always
counts as one, so you'll need to subtract one from the gathered number.

Subject: [mrtg] PM3 MRTG Graph incorrect

Hi all,

Quick question. Probably pretty dumb, but here goes....

I've got a few PM3's that I graph modem usage on.. I am using
1.3.6.1.2.1.2.1.0&1.3.6.1.2.1.2.1.0:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:
for the OID. The graphs come out, but ALWAYS 1 higher than what is in
use. I can actually graph a PM3 with no one on it, and it will show 1
modem in use. I believe I have delt with this before, but it has been
quite awhile since I have graphed PM3's. Any ideas?

Thanks,

-Ronan
