Here's what I monitor in my Compaqs (with quite older Insight Agents), maybe it
helps.
Just replace COMMUNITY and HOSTNAME, maybe you should do a snmpwalk with these
OID's to see what matches on your hosts..

Do you have any example of a CFG to monitor memory usage at the OS level?

Thnks in advance,

I have seen similar symptoms with the new compaq mibs. The memory OID's
just don't work. I have resorted to monitoring at the OS level.

It's not mrtg it's compaq/hp

When I use the getIf the total physical memory shows "1" and it should be
"1024" and the free physical memory shows "1918" and it should be a little
bit les than "1024". I have at least 30 more servers but these are the first
two that I've applied the new "HP" Support Pack 6.22. I hope that somebody
has a solution for this bug.

THnks.

LL

I've just upgrade two Proliant ML370 servers with the last Support Pack
6.22, then my mrtg start receiving non logical values from the RAM used
target.
Does anybody see something like this ??

Thnks in advance.
