I'm graphing several 3548XL and 2900XL switches for years now with recreating configs once a day to reflect changes in port-names and it works fine on NT and Linux.. looks like a problem on your switch, which IOS is running there (sh ver) ? I remeber having problems a long time ago, but everything starting with Version 12.0(5)WC3b works fine here.. The Catalyst-switches IOS can be downloaded without CCO-account/contract from http://www.cisco.com/public/sw-center/sw-lan.shtml You config on the switch should only look something like this: snmp-server community public RO
