For 'real time' analysis (errors, bottlenecks etc.) I use the SNMP Traffic Grapher.
This is a Windows tool. Highest resolution is 0.01 sec. (I use only 1 sec resolution.) The site is: http://leonidvm.chat.ru/ I hope this helps.
