I don't know without RRD but with using rrdtool I graphs negative data fine,
just do something like
"rrdtool tune targetfile.rrd -i ds0:-50"

Subject: [mrtg] Value below 0 problem

Hi all,

I have al small problem and hoping for somebody to help me.

I have a mrtg script with is getting data from our Cisco DWDM metro
switches.

I am interested in the optical power health.(I have got the OID)

In the mrtg graph i am not getting any values.

When i try to get the OID with GETIF i got a value back that is below 0
(nullobj).

How do I tell mrtg that the value it is getting is a negative value.

Thnx,

Ben van de Graaff.
