Hi, Simon

I'm using this OID for CPU load in one Catalyst. But it's for de
Catalyst's CPU, not for the MSFC.
Anyway, I paste it here. I hope it could help you.

Target[catalyst1_cpu]:
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.5.9&.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.5.9:commun

Asunto: [mrtg] cpu load of cisco 6500 switch

Hi,
we have recently installed a cisco 6500 Core switch and I would like to
monitor the CPU load.

The exact model of the MSFC is WS-C6509

I have used a snmp walk and have got the following OID's

OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.56
Type INTEGER

Units % load

Access read-only

Status unknown

CPU busy percentage in the last 5 second period. Not the last 5 realtime
seconds but the last 5 second period in the scheduler.

i have used the above OID but the CPU load remains always zero

Appreciate if someone can tell me the exact OID's required to monitor
CPU load

Thanks

Simon
