Thank you for the quick reply, do have a good resource for understanding the 
product on windows.  I just inherited this and really do not have a good grasp 
on what makes it work.

I'm not sure how you get 800 perl instances.  Do you have one config file
for each graph?  If so you need to combine the config files, just make sure
that each target has a distinct name.  You might also want to look at
cfgmaker.
