I believe this is just the resulting erring when you try and poll an interface that is in a down state. Am I correct in assuming you only get these errors when you shut the interface down?
-----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Hayden Katzenellenbogen Sent: Tuesday, February 27, 2007 11:09 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [mrtg] Threshold Error I have decided to upgrade my mrtg system. I am building a whole new machine from scratch and not using any of my old configs. I ran cfgmaker against one of my switches to build a base config. I then added a threshold on one of the ports. I shut the port down to test the threshold. When the minimum threshold is reached I get an e-mail notifying me of the issue. I also get another the cron daemon. It contains the following error. Use of uninitialized value in join or string at /usr/local/bin/mrtg line 1970. Use of uninitialized value in system at /usr/local/bin/mrtg line 1971. Can't exec "": No such file or directory at /usr/local/bin/mrtg line 1971. I am unable to find any solutions on google. Does anyone have a perl of wisdom to share on this issue.
