Title: Bericht
Hi,
the big gap was I was running this by had to capture each change.
MRTG was telling the truth, when you calculate the hits per second by
hand , most the traffic is going to one server, the perhour options
starts to produce numbers
So I guess I need to look at the gtld root dns server load balancing
anyway thanks 1*10^6 for your help and patience.

Stuart,
The
timestamps of
the first lines in the two logfiles are 36786 seconds apart. In a 5
minute
run cycle they should be (about) 300 seconds apart.
First
you should
find an explanation for this big time gap.
If
the 10+ hour
timegap is right then it is normal that there are zero's in the
graphs:
The
first
counter increases only by 1922. This results in a rate of less then
1 per second, and will give a 0 in your log and graph. The second
counter increases even less.
To
graph such a
slow increasing counter you probably need the perminute or perhour
option.
