If you want to use symbolic names you have to load the appropriate MIB in the
cfg file.
Search the documentation for "LoadMIBs"

example: LoadMIBs: /dept/net/mibs/netapp.mib,/usr/local/lib/ft100m.mib

But why do you want change if the numeric form works?

Subject: [mrtg] Target error

I installed mrtg
It is working.
My question is:
When I use the "Target" in numeric form I haven't problem
Target[server.cpuUser]:
.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.50.0&.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.50.0:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

When I use the "Target" in this form
Target[server.cpuUser]:
.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.ssCpuRawUser.0&.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.ssCpuRawUser.0:[EMAIL
PROTECTED]

I receive those messages in mrtg.log
