I use hardware RAID 1 (mirror) of 15000RPM disks. I know, that with RAID 1+0 with 4 or 6 physical disks I will get more I/O power, but I can't buy another disks. I am only asking which filesystem is best for storing RRD files. I use EXT3 now.
