Hi Hans,

I've never used the indexmaker very much, but during my initial testing I got
the impression it wasn't able to do that. The documentation is rather light in
the book (I've got the hardback copy for v2.16.4 in my hands). I would imagine
dynamic would be difficult to do with HTML tables, and I think indexmaker uses
tables a lot IIRC.

I made a different "tool" or web interface for the MRTG graphs we have. You can
construct your own web interface and using HTML/CSS make it completely dynamic
with respect to columns, although we still ultimately chose to use just 2
columns to work with. I've constructed pages that can zoom in and out making
the graphs smaller and will naturally fill the screen with as many graphs as
possible. The trick is to use float and margins, IIRC. Graphs selection and
presentation is database driven, but nothing stops you from making static pages
the same way.

Sincerely,

Can you generate an mrtg indexpage (using indexmaker or other tool) that
uses a dynamic number of columns?

I e displays as many diagrams as it can, horizontally, and then
continuing on the next row?
