I have a text list that I would like Access to create for me but I am
having some difficulty with it.
I capture text data from a VMS mainframe system and append it to a
single field Access table. The data is in the following sample format
line 1 Worker #1 Worker name
Line 2 Acct number1 Name Amt QYY
Line 3 Acct number2 Name Amt QYY
...
...
Line 20 Worker #2 Worker name
line 21 Acct number1 Name Amt QYY
line 22 Acct number2 Name Amt QYY
In some cases worker 1 can have say 20 accts while worker 2 can have
7 accounts.
I would like the date to be columnized out and look like this:
line 1 worker1 worker name acct1 number name amt Qyy
line 2 worker 1 worker name acct2 Name Amt QYY
.......
line 20 worker2 worker name acct1 number name amt Qyy
line 21 worker2 worker name acct2 number Name Amt QYY
...
Is it possible to do a query and have it set in thes format.?
