We created a database in Access 97, it is set up so the Switchboard
is on the screen upon opening,,, the user can not use the database
window underneath the switchboard.. in Access 97 and 2000 you can
hold down the shift key and double click the file name and it will
open allowing access to the database window not showing the
switchboard so you can edit tables, forms etc.. Just got off the
phone with a friend using Access 2003 after conversion he can not get
to the database window using the Shift double click he still gets the
switchboard ... what are we doing wrong???? is this feature gone
in 2003??
We need to keep the casual user out of the tables and only advanced
users to have access to the database window we did not want to get
into the password sutff,,

Thanks for your help in the past, hope someone has an answer..

Thanks
Carl
