SendObect won't open the report, so your reference to
[REPORTS]![RPTEMAILOPENCLIENT]![PROGRAMEMAIL] should either return an error
or nothing.  I think you must also put an equals sign in front of the
expression to force the macro to evaluate it.  You must reference an open
object to pick up the email address.  If it is stored in a table, you could
try using DLookup.

Hi,

I tried the following:
table [client] has field programemail(which has my email(jbalbo))
created a macro using sendobject
opejectname is report RPTEMAILOPENCLIENT
which has the field PROGRAMEMAIL

in recipient put [REPORTS]![RPTEMAILOPENCLIENT]![PROGRAMEMAIL]

I get email message back mailer-daemon back with recipent as:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
