I'm sure this is an old quesiton. - compiling an access application to run as a standalone.
I'm trying to help a social work group organize their purchasing department and found a purchase order program that I can adapt (I hope) on the Microsoft template page. However - the computers at the place are pretty old and they do not have the Microsoft Access Program. If I could prepare the program, "compile" it and then distribute it to the couple social work sites that would be great. I do not have MS Access Developer Toolkit. In Tools/Utilities - there is a function to make an .mde database - what is that, exactly??
