Hi Brett, Thought about that too but that is not the case what I've done at the end of each month is backed up the BE to a zip file in a different directory. In looking at one of the backups i can see the changes that were made back in December of 05. However, if i look at the current BE I don't see the changes, nor does the last update field reflect any current data after December o5.
I did remember seeing an article regarding backup software and an archive bit but I think it pertained to Access 20 and not 2000.
