Access makes a 1 to 1 relationship when you try to link two primary keys
with each other.
With MS-Access remember you must link the fields, not the tables.
So, first delete the relationship if you think it is wrong. You an delete
it by right clicking on the link, in the relation window.
Then make sure the relationship you draw is between a normal field (not a
primary key) of a first table, and the primary key of the other table.
Normally there is no problem.
(if your primary keys are multi field, it might be a little more dfficult,
let us know)

Objet : [ms_access] One to many relationship

I am a new user to Access. I KNOW database design. I have followed the steps
to create a relationship but I am STILL having problems. I must be missing
something VERY basic. All I need to do is to create a one to many
relationship. When I pull up the edit relationship box - there is NO way to
change the relationship type - the only choice is one to one - no way to
change this. I have my primary keys set up in each table. PLEASE
help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
