Mohamed, Personally I never use the Query Development tool. The way I edit queries is - - Open the Query development folder Right Clidk on the query that you want to modify Choose Design View Click on the View control at the top of the window and choose the SQL View Modifty the Query's SQL anyway you want including the addition of new columns
