You could use a VBA function to give you the increment. 10th hour, 4th
hour, whatever. Something like this:
SELECT [Test Flt Skd].[By Hour], FindINcrement([Test Flt Skd].[FltTime]) as
QuarterHr FROM [Test Flt Skd]
Then create a function in the "General" code module like this:
Public Function FindIncrement (dtDATE as datetime) as integer
' Determine which quarter of the hour it is, given the Time as DateTime
If datepart(n,dtDATE) <= 14 then FindIncrement = 1
' First Quarter of hour
If datepart(n,dtDATE) >= 15 and If datepart(n,dtDATE) <= 29 then
FindIncrement = 2 ' Second Quarter of hour
If datepart(n,dtDATE) >= 30 and If datepart(n,dtDATE) <= 44 then
FindIncrement = 3 ' Third Quarter of hour
If datepart(n,dtDATE) >= 45 then FindIncrement = 4
' Fourth Quarter of hour
End Function
This is just something quick off the top of my head - I didn't compile this
or check this syntax for accuracy, so it may be off a bit, but it should be
a good guide as to how this can be implemented

Will give that a shot as well....seems I can't get it resolved yet but I'll
bet it is not suggestions such as yours as much as it is my new coding, or
lack thereof, skills. I appreciate the efforts. Will let you know when I
finally get something to work. My sincere thanks for the replies.

Dave,
Maybe you could do a group-by/order-by (hour/4)

This works for hourly reports...just want to break it down further.
