One way is using the FileSystemObject. Add Microsoft Scripting Runtime on your reference and click the Object Browser to see all the syntax.
HTH, George -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Darlene LeQueene Sent: Monday, November 19, 2007 1:46 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [ms_access] File Date Modified Please help; I need to retrieve the filename and date modified from a windows directory/subdirectories and store them in a table. The idea is to add a field later to one of my tables with a date the file was modified. Once I have the filename and date modified in Table X then I can run an update query to add the data into the appropriate field in my main table from the imported table.
