Bingo!  That was it.  I changed the dpi back to normal - but now, of course,
the user really liked the bigger icons, etc, and has decided she'd rather
scroll through the forms, so I reset it to where it was.  Ah, well.

Suggest you check the DPI setting on the Display -- right click desktop, 
select properties, select settings, select advanced.
