I need to encrypt my MS Access 2007 ACCDB database file using a using a minimum key strength of 80 bits.
When I encrypt the database it does not give me any options, it just encrypts it. I have read that by default, MS Access encrypts with a 40 bit key. I have also read that Access 2007 can use any valid encryption method in the "Windows Cryptographic Service Providers". I found a bit of into on "Windows Cryptographic Service Providers", but none of that info tells me how to use it, much less how to use it with MS Access 2007. Can someone please give me a step by step on how to get this working? Thanks.
