Is the column width set to zero?

Hi all members, I am using access 2003. In my database there are drop down combo boxes showing customer names. Data source of them is table "customers". My problem is: For some time I can not see anything when I dropped it. If I click the the drop down empty area it select a name and it appears.What is the cause of it? How can I repair it?
