I'm trying to implement alternative notations. In the long run I'd like to contribute more broadly (and in less controversial ways), but for right now, alternative notation has been a deep obsession of mine.
Since alternative notations mess with the usual sharps-and-flats conventions, there's a lot of danger in remapping notes without accounting for the underlying TPC's. I decided to post this question to get a little more context. It's good to know that I can assume Equal Temperament for now (at least until I can figure out a more musical way to deal with the TPC mapping). If my question came across as vague, I apologize. If it's not too much to ask, do you have any suggestions about what code to investigate? I will need to understand how individual notes/pitches/TPC's get mapped to both symbol and layout. -- View this message in context: http://dev-list.musescore.org/Is-Equal-Temperament-assumed-by-default-in-MuseScore-tp7578184p7578193.html Sent from the MuseScore Developer mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Windows: Build for Windows Store. http://p.sf.net/sfu/windows-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Mscore-developer mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mscore-developer
