Thanks for the good info! Actually, about plugins, I still haven't looked
seriously at the new QML framework at all. I don't have a sense for how stable
it is, what solution we should be adopting for GUI, etc. Is it worth coming up
to speed on this for MHD?
Thanks for the offer to help on IRC - I am quite sure I'll be taking you up on
that, as people will probably have questions about MuseScore I can't answer.
Regarding my own hacking - given that I don't think I'll know others there,
should I go in with an idea for something I know I want to work on, or should I
expect to be inspired by something I see there? I have a notion that my simply
working on some new feature for MuseScore itself is not exactly in the spirit
of the event - I could, after all, do that on my own. So I am assuming that
something like my LibreOffice extension - interfacing MuseScore with something
else - is more to the point, and that while I might have some ideas going in, a
lot will depend on who I meet up front and what I see during the initial API
presentations. It might not turn ut to be MuseScore-related at all, although I
suspect it will be.
