This makes me wonder whether my respository has become faulty?

I've already tried recloning it to my PC.

It's a possibility because the last few times I've updated, I have been
unable to merge with Git GUI until I deleted revision.h from the mscore
directory, which theoretically should not be necessary as it is down as a
gitignore file.

Today I will try resinstalling CMake.

Any further thoughts would be appreciated
