So the response seems to be mostly negative. That's OK. My intention
was just to let people know about the feature. Obviously, since I just
wrote it, I haven't even used it myself, but plan to do so very soon.
For my chorus, I'm creating a learning CD of eight Christmas songs in
four voice parts and I currently know only two of the parts. I expect
this feature will help me with the other two. I can also send scores to
some people that I think may be interested in it. I'm grateful that
MuseScore enables me to do this.

I'm fairly new to git. I've used it on an earlier project, but just to
get code, not to publish to it. I have created a branch in my GitHub
repository (user name MmAlder) for this feature so that anyone who is
interested can look at it. I then merged the branch back into my master
branch. If I understand correctly, this allows me to now create a new
branch for continued development that someone else can eventually pull
without getting the Interval Guides code, but the code still stays in my
master and I continue to see it in my local repository. Is that right?
