Yes. The changes renamed the default styles to make them more meaningful
for the user and the translators.

No! The strings in the score files are not localized.

Yes kind of. Your files are probably older than the changes and created
with an unstable version. So you have some "old" style like "Tecknik" while
it has been renamed to the correct english "Technique". We could argue that
the style name should be different than its "tag" in the score file... but
unfortunately the name is used for the UI (and translated if it's a default
name) and in the style tag (untranslated). When a user creates a text
style, he is asked for a name only and the name is used in both places as
well. The difference between UI and tag could be done for the default
styles only?
