Hello everyone. My name is Joseph Ryan and I am a third year student at UCF
looking to join your team for GSoC 2014. I am majoring in Physics with a
minor in Computer Science, although I have substantial experience coding
outside of school as well. I am also a hobbyist guitar and piano player.
I am hoping to improve Guitar Pro support for MuseScore. I have used Guitar
Pro for several years and just discovered MuseScore, and with the abundance
of Guitar Pro tabs available on the internet, improved support would be a
very useful feature. I will be working on my proposal all week, however,
this is just an introduction to get to know all of you. I look forward to
hearing back and potentially working with your team.
