Hi Alessandro, I guess you got the code from http://github.com/musescore/MuseScore You can find compilation instructions for your OS at http://musescore.org/en/developers-handbook/compilation I wouldn't recommend to read the whole code of MuseScore that would take you too much time. Learning by doing is better. You can find several bugs for guitar pro import here http://musescore.org/en/project/issues/musescore?tag=guitarpro
