Hello. I bow in homage to all you MuseScore muses who have devoted a lot of
time and effort to this program. In some talk over the last few years an
option of being allowed to insert grace notes after a note has come up.
When a song phrase has the second syllable accented instead of the first,
the first syllable needs to be included in the previous measure. Some verse
may have the first syllable accented, while in others the second and
possibly third syllable of a phrase gets the accent (beat 1). My question,
is: How hard would it be to include a "Before / After" switch in the GUI
portion of the grace note section to allow a user to determine if the grace
note goes to the left or the right of the note selected? I'm not much of a
programmer type, so I do not know how many lines of code or man-hours this
would take. All I know is that I would be deeply in the "Muses" favor if
this could be included in the upcoming 2.0 version. Thank you. for your
time and consideration. (said leaving virtual pies, cakes, and assorted
sweets at the mouth of the Muses cave).
