Hi,
GSoC 2015 is not started yet. MuseScore will apply to become an
organization for GSoC 2015 on February 9th. Then it's in the hand of Google
to decide if they select MuseScore as a participating organization. Result
of the Google's decision is due on March 2nd. See
https://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/events/google/gsoc2015
In the meantime, you can prepare and :
1/ Use MuseScore, especially a nightly version to get a sense of what
MuseScore is, what it does, what it doesn't do.
2/ Compile MuseScore and setup a development environment. See
http://musescore.org/en/developers-handbook/compilation
3/ Fix bugs from the issue tracker
http://musescore.org/en/project/issues/musescore or this shortlist
http://musescore.org/en/issue-hit-list-marc-sabatella and so get a sense of
our contribution workflow
http://musescore.org/en/developers-handbook/git-workflow
4/ While using MuseScore if you have an idea for a feature, discuss it on
the forum http://musescore.org/en/forum and eventually submit it to
http://musescore.org/en/developers-handbook/google-summer-code/ideas-2015
5/ Say hello on the IRC #musescore on freenode.net. Stick around to answer
or ask questions.
Cheers,
lasconic
