Hello all, My name is Cory Kitchens, a Junior Computer Science student at California State University of Bakersfield. I am interested in contributing to MuseScore during Google's Summer of Code 2016.
I believe the Accessibility project idea fits my passion for music, accessible technology, and software development. Prior to majoring in Computer Science, I was a gigging bass player and music major. I currently work as an Assistive Technology Specialist at CSU Bakersfield so I am lucky enough to interact with students with disabilities on a daily basis. Contributing to music-based project with an emphasis on accessibility blends all my passions into one exciting package :) As the deadline approaches for applications, I will work hard on my proposal.
