Sibelius's "Magnetic Layout" does keep lyrics aligned all the way across the system. Similarly for dynamics and hairpins.

It's very common in publsihed music for all syllables in a measure to be aligned togetyher. Often, for the entire *system*. So if we can be doing that by default, great. for the special situatiosn where you want your lyrics *not* aligned in this standard way, it seems manually adjusting should be the way to go.

Its intentional, but the behaviour can be changed to only move one
syllable if it fits better. The idea is to make reading easier by
    aligning similar elements.

Is it intentional that with the new lyrics autoplacement all
        syllables in a
measure move down when otherwise just one of them would get
        below the min.
        top margin?
