Is MuseScore's online score sharing feature Free Software? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MuseScore#Online_score_sharing
GNU linked to a version of the Free Software Song that is presented in a web app that looks like it's part of the score sharing feature. https://www.gnu.org/music/free-software-song.html https://musescore.com/user/1102686/scores/2429346 This service seems tightly integrated with the MuseScore program. Please make sure that this integration does not lead users to run proprietary JavaScript or do their computing on your servers using software that they have no source code to or is not under the GNU AGPL. Proprietary JavaScript: https://www.gnu.org/philosophy/javascript-trap.html Service as a Software Substitute: https://www.gnu.org/philosophy/who-does-that-server-really-serve.html If your JavaScript is actually Free Software, I had no way of finding this out. When I looked at your copyright information in the footer of your pages, I didn't see any information about your JavaScript. You may want to add it so users know about the scripts they are running: https://www.gnu.org/software/librejs/free-your-javascript.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ Mscore-developer mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mscore-developer
