Just out of curiosity, as you seem to do this under Linux: why'd you _copy_
the directories and not simply created a (symbolic) link? Or hard link all
the files in the source directory to the destination? (The mc, if you know
and use it, can perform mass links very easily in current versions.)

BTW, linking is possible under Windows' NTFS as well, and there are tools
to perform it. Ivanko B recently mentioned one, another one is the "Double
Commander" I mentioned.
