A ttreeitemeditnode can only be mapped into a single ttreeitemedit. The reason is that the datalist in ttreeitemedit only has rows for grid items, the expanded state is stored in the node itself. "ttreeitemedit2.itemlist.add(root);" replaces ownership of ttreeitemedit1.itemlist.
