By the way, if some parameter should be added in some method, I would vote for a "NumChunck" parameter iin audio_object_write(pcaudioobj, buffer, bufferlength, numchunck)); With PortAudio, numchunck is the number of samples from the buffer (blocks?) to give to audio-output to read all the buffer. But maybe it is what you want too...
