In source from 5.0., you will see that dscheckfilter is commented now at
line 55
//dscheckfilter = ord(high(tdatasetstate)) + 1;
It is defined now in mdb.pas at line 57
TDataSetState = (dsInactive, dsBrowse, dsEdit, dsInsert, dsSetKey,
dsCalcFields, dsFilter, dsNewValue, dsOldValue, dsCurValue, dsBlockRead,
dsInternalCalc, dsOpening, dsCheckFilter);
