Re-hello. It seems that the only part of Xorg still maintained/updated is XWayland:

Then, maybe no worry too much about the end of Xorg, all X11 applications will work exactly like "pure" Wayland applications. It would be interesting that people who have a "pure" Wayland system installed try to run some MSEgui applications and see if there is problems.
